Last weekend we took a hike to a place called spy rock.
I didn't want to go, it was cold, I hate being cold and in the winter time everything is very monochromatic and blah.
I went and have to say, I am glad I went, the view was beautiful and the cold wasn't as bad as I feared it would be.
the trees near the top were very unique and I don't know if I would have fully appreciated them if they had been full of leaves.
the view at the top was breathtaking, and well worth the 1.5 hike up.
we even made a friend with a vulture that got a little too close.
I still can't get over the trees, they seemed to striking a pose.
I can't wait to go back in the spring or summer.
